Save Bookmarks from Chrome in One Click
The Save This One browser extension saves the current tab in one click. Connect your account once, then use the toolbar icon; matching existing tags are applied in the background. It currently requires manual installation rather than the Chrome Web Store.

Setup
The extension is not on the Chrome Web Store yet. Install it manually:
- Go to
chrome://extensions - Enable Developer mode (top-right toggle)
- Click Load unpacked, select the
apps/extensionfolder - Click the extension icon, sign in if needed, then choose Connect extension on the page it opens.
Connecting creates another ordinary API token; it does not replace tokens used by your other integrations. To revoke access, open Settings → Manage token → API tokens in the web app. Regenerating the main token revokes all existing tokens.
Save a bookmark
- Navigate to any page
- Click the extension icon
- Watch for the toolbar checkmark and the Saved to your library message. A second click reports Already saved.
Tags are assigned in the background when the page has enough information and matches a tag you already use. The save confirmation does not wait for tagging, and a new account with no tags will not get an automatic tag yet.
Troubleshooting
- Exclamation mark on the icon: Hover to see the error. Click again to retry.
- Connection expired: Click the extension icon again and reconnect in the app.
- No message on the page: Chrome blocks overlays on some tabs (including browser pages and PDFs). The icon badge and its hover text still show the result.
- Extension not showing: Check Developer mode is on in
chrome://extensions.
